Yesterday was "Double Ninth Festival" in Chinese culture. Did anybody do anything to celebrate it?

I was at the train station to meet my wife and saw many people launching red paper lanterns in a nearby park.

According to the wiki entry, one should "climb a high mountain, drink chrysanthemum wine, and wear the zhuyu (茱萸) plant."

I guess one could also watch Curse of the Golden Flower, which heavily features this holiday as part of its plot.
